Jill has recently joined Pets’ Request to help keep Dr. Burnett organized since the practice has grown so much in the last couple of years. 

Veterinary Assistants

Ruta is a veterinarian from India who recently shifted her base along with her husband to Davis, CA. She earned her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from MAFSU, India and her Master’s in Wildlife Science from TANUVAS, India. She’s pursed an advanced course in Chemical Immobilization of Free-ranging wildlife in South Africa and she later on worked as a Wildlife Veterinarian until before coming to Davis. She’s worked majorly with hoof-stock and Royal Bengal tigers. An avid traveler and birder, she is currently in the process becoming licensed in the United States so that she may practice here.

 

Bri is an animal biology major at UCD.

Bailey is a third-year Animal Science Major and a Music and Asian American Studies double minor at UC Davis. She is currently involved with Knights Landing One Health Clinic and has interned with various farms at Davis. She intends to apply for veterinary school after her undergraduate studies.
